Cathy Myhill - Current Paintings
"I love the landscape, with all of its changing qualities of light and atmosphere, natural forms and textures. These, along with the influences of our Celtic heritage, the fluid lines of the Art Nouveau movement, and all things mystical and magical, are my art inspiration.
I work with mixed-media and enjoy the way experimentation can lead to developing ideas as a painting grows."
Cathy Myhill studied at Bourneville School of Art and Birmingham College of Education, graduating as a teacher. In 1980 she moved to Skye and established the gallery at Stein.
